This project was my search for the beating heart of grassroots rugby in the UK.
I travelled over 6000 miles across Devon • Wales • Isle of Man • North Yorkshire • Northern Ireland all the way up to the Southern Hebrides, I found a common respect and passion and lots of unforgettable characters, each with a common bond – a love for the game with an oval ball.
The photography was published in The Sunday Times magazine and won an honorable mention in the International Photography awards.
